What could be more exciting than a test drive in the Chevrolet Camaro, one of the most recognizable American muscle cars of all time? If you’re ready to command the Clarksville roads like never before, there’s a wide range of new Camaro trims to choose from. You may be curious about the differences in performance, style, and features offered in each of the eight trim levels. In that case, Koons Clarksville Chevrolet Buick GMC has you covered. Let’s take a look at the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro trim levels and discover how fast they can take you from zero to 60.

2023 Camaro 1LS

Despite being the entry-level Camaro, the 1LS comes with a wealth of convenient and comfortable features, like proximity keyless entry with push-button start and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Standard equipment includes 18-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels, full power controls for the windows, door locks, exterior mirrors, and both LED-bulb headlights and daytime running lights.

The 1LS is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission and an available 10-speed automatic transmission. A limited-slip differential is standard with either configuration. A 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also included, along with a tire fill alert, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped manual tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel.

2023 Camaro 1LT

The 1LT doesn’t add much to the 1LS’s standard kit, but it has a more extensive list of optional packages. Among the highlights is the option to swap out the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine is also available on the 2LT. The 1LT model includes satellite radio and a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. Add the Technology Package, featuring an enhanced satellite-radio experience and a nine-speaker premium Bose audio system, if you wish.

2023 Camaro 2LT

Buyers of the 2LT can choose between the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or the 3.6-liter V-6. Optional packages are generally identical to the 1LT. For new standard features, you get dual-zone automatic climate control, an ambient temperature display, heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.

2023 Camaro 3LT

Including everything from the 2LT and Technology Package, the new Camaro 3LT adds an 8-inch touch screen, wireless phone charging, and a head-up display. Other additions include a digital rearview mirror, an 8-inch color adjustable digital gauge cluster, and a heated steering wheel. Memory settings for the driver’s seat and outboard mirrors are also included, as are heated outboard mirrors and an auto-dimming driver’s side outboard mirror.

The 3LT is the first trim level to receive enhanced driving assistance features. Forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist are among the guidance and protection systems.

2023 Camaro LT1

The LT1 represents the first step toward serious Camaro performance. A 455 horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 is standard on the LT1 and the two trims above it. This V-8 comes with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet also outfits the LT1 with 20-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and powerful Brembo brakes.

Aside from the V-8 engine upgrade, the LT1 focuses on superior performance at an accessible price point. Its standard content is nearly identical to the 1LT, so in exchange for a more affordable price on the first trim with a V-8, you’ll drop the advanced driving aids, Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and other highlights from the 2LT and 3LT.

2023 Camaro 1SS

The 1SS restores some of the LT1’s amenities, including an 8-inch touch screen, enhanced satellite-radio functionality, and an 8-inch color-adjustable driver display. You also get improved Brembo rear brakes, LED lighting, and additional cooling components for the gearbox, engine, oil, and rear differential.

A head-up display and other interior technology upgrades appear as standard features, and many of the optional appearance packages from previous trims are still available. The Track Performance Package adds Recaro performance seats, a rear spoiler, magnetic ride control, and a sportier suspension.

2023 Camaro 2SS

The 2SS is the lineup’s high-performance luxury model. It retains nearly all of the goodies of the 3LT, including the head-up display, Bose audio system, wireless phone charging, and advanced driver assistance. The 6.2-liter V-8 engine and SS performance kit are standard, as are a heated steering wheel and heated leather front seats. Built-in navigation is also made standard, and like the 1SS, an electronically adjustable suspension is available as an option.

2023 Camaro ZL1

The engine in the Camaro ZL1 model is a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, begging to be tested on the track with 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Like the other V-8, it’s connected to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. Larger Brembo brakes have been added in the front and rear, as well as a more robust cooling system suitable for high-performance driving.

This famous sports car blends aerodynamic performance with vintage flair, drawing attention everywhere it goes. The sculptural decklid, horizontal lighting, and rear diffuser complete the eye-catching appearance on the inside. Perhaps most appealing of all is the heated and ventilated Recaro racing seats.

2023 Camaro Engine Zero to 60 Times

In every configuration, the Camaro is remarkably fast. The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine gets from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and boasts excellent acceleration overall. Camaro models featuring the 3.6-liter V-6 engine have a 5.0-second sprint to 60 mph.

If speed is what you’re after, look no further than Camaro models featuring the muscle of a V-8 engine. The LT1 and SS variants have the 6.2-liter V-8 engine and a zero to 60 mph time of 4.0 seconds. That engine is supercharged in ZL1 versions, allowing it to reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile run in 11.4 seconds. The Camaro manages to be a fantastic throwback to past generations while continually improving its powertrain potential.
